Materials:
1 AA battery
Aluminum foil
Scissors
Procedure
Cut a strip from the aluminum foil
Then attach both ends of the aluminum foil
Results The aluminum wires gets hot.
Why? Touching the wire to the ends of the battery produces a path through which electrons travel(an electric circuit). The electrons move out of the negative end of the battery. The movement of the electrons causes the wire. When a light bulb is placed in the electrical circuit, the electrons heat up the wire filament inside the bulb. The wire filament becomes incandescent, that is it gets that it gives off light.

Experiment: Charge It!
Materials:
Static Tester
12 by 12-inch piece of clear plastic wrap
piece of silk fabric
"test" objects (wooden Popsicle stick, plastic straw, plastic comb, metal spoon, metal scissors, glass eyedropper, glass light bulb)
Step 1 - Rub the wooden Popsicle stick with the plastic wrap for about 30 seconds.
Step 2 - Bring the Popsicle stick near on end of the folded card on your static tester. Don't the stick touch the card. What happens Static Tester?
Step 3 - Record your results on the chart be Use"strong", "weak" or "none" to describe the Static Tester's Motion.
Step 4 - Repeat steps 1 to 3 with each of the other test objects.
Step 5 - Repeat 1 to 4 but this time with each object with the silk fabric.
Results:
Test Item Plastic Wrap Silk Fabric
Wooden Popsicle Stick Yes Yes
Plastic Straw Yes Yes
Plastic Comb Yes Yes
Metal Spoon Yes No
Metal Scissors Yes No
Glass Eyedropper No No
Glass light bulb No No

Short Circuit Experiment
I did a little experiment based on short circuiting, I put a piece of aluminum foil and a AA battery. Then I connect each end of the battery to the foil and wait for 2 or three seconds, then it will be burning hot. That's a short circuit.
